In term 3 we are going to further cultivate the habit of being present. 

When we are present we are centred, strong, unwavering and solid. 

When we are present our anxiety drops away from us. 

And most of our anxieties come from fear...

Fear of the future.
Fear of the past repeating itself. 
Fear of the unknown. 
Fear of failure. 
Fear of not getting what we want. 
Fear of our negative thoughts coming true. 

Our fear and anxiety cloud our judgements. 

But the truth is... our thoughts are not real and fear is a liar. 

This term we are going to further cultivate the habit of being present to calm our nerves. Because...

When we are present we let go of any thoughts/ projections into the future and this helps to relieve our anxieties. 

When we are present we activate the right side of our brain which helps for us to see life through softer eyes. 

When we are present we activate the parasympathetic branch of our nervous system and all our natural healing mechanisms kick in. 

When we are present we relax and see things clearer. 

Present moment awareness helps us to choose love over fear which makes life flow with more grace.
